Kimberley Day Cruise among ‘the best of the best’ at WA’s 2023 Tourism Awards.
On Saturday, November 11th, WA’s tourism industry celebrated its equivalent of the Oscars in a gala event at the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth with the 51st Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards. Featuring a stellar lineup of entrants from across the State, 26 gold medal winners were recognised.
Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall commented: “The Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards are the most prestigious awards in the tourism industry, with a long history of celebrating and recognising business excellence and improving tourism business’ operations”.
Kimberley Day Cruise is absolutely over the moon to be recognised as Bronze medal winner in the highly competitive category of New Tourism Business in 2023. Other category medal winners included Nexus Airlines (Gold) and Serenity Gully Luxury Accommodation (Silver).
The category award recognises excellence in business planning and development for which Kimberley Day Cruise launched the first Day Trip Cruise tour to the majestic Horizontal Falls, taking in the awe-inspiring marine experience of Cygnet Bay, WA’s Buccaneer Archipelago and Talbot Bay.
Recognition at the awards adds to the team’s mounting endorsement on Trip Advisor where customers have given the experience an unblemished 5-star review rating (from 55 reviews) in its first season of operation
